- Free-standing — plug into a wall outlet. Place on a flat, stable surface (side table, bedside, desk, console).
- The terrazzo base is real stone aggregate — heavy and stable. Lift by the base, not the stem, when moving.
- Faux-fur shade: handle gently. Brush periodically with a soft fabric brush to maintain texture and remove dust. Keep away from heat sources.
Which shade color should I choose?
White (shown): the most versatile — pairs with any room palette and reads soft and Scandinavian. Pink: bedrooms, nurseries, feminine spaces. Beige: warm neutral — works against wood, cream walls, transitional interiors. Dark Green: moody and sophisticated — pairs with rich library or velvet-textured rooms. Black: bold and contemporary — gives the lamp graphic contrast against light walls.
Is the base real terrazzo?
Yes — real terrazzo (stone aggregate set in resin), hand-cast. Each base has unique speckle patterns and color variation; no two are identical. The base weighs about 2 kg by itself, giving the lamp solid stability. Wipe with damp cloth for cleaning; avoid acidic cleaners which can dull the surface.
Is the plush shade washable?
The shade is upholstered onto the metal frame and is not removable for washing. Spot-clean only: blot with a damp cloth and mild fabric cleaner, dry immediately. For dust, brush with a soft natural-bristle brush or vacuum on low with a fabric attachment. Avoid soaking, machine washing, or harsh chemicals — these damage the faux-fur fibers and the underlying frame.
What bulb? How bright?
E26 (US/CA) or E27 (EU/AU). A 6–9W LED in 2700K warm white gives gentle bedside or accent light (~600–900 lumens through the plush shade). The fur shade absorbs some light so brightness reads softer than equivalent fabric shades — good for bedrooms, mood lighting, and accent spots. Max 40W per bulb — don't exceed, fur is heat-sensitive.
Does it dim?
The inline push-button switch is on/off only — not a dimmer. However, if you install a dimmable LED bulb (E26/E27), you can dim by pairing the lamp with a smart plug or use a bulb with built-in dimming controls. The default bulb (if you purchase one separately) typically isn't dimmable; check the bulb's spec sheet before purchase.
