At 130 cm / 51 inches across and 130 cm / 51 inches tall (a roughly square footprint), the Reader is a figurative floor sculpture cast from black-finished fiberglass — a slim seated figure in reading pose, knees raised, with a book and a polished burgundy orb resting in the lap. A large circular black-and-gold metal frame arcs around the figure, anchoring the silhouette as a unified circular composition. The integrated LED inside the orb provides ambient light through a single warm point — not bright enough for task reading, but sufficient as accent lighting. Plugs into a standard wall outlet — built for libraries, reading nooks, study areas, and modern living rooms with floor space for a sculptural accent.

How does the LED color temperature work?
The integrated LED is set at manufacture in your chosen color temperature: 3000K warm white (cozy, library), 4000K neutral white (transitional), or 6000K cool white (modern, task). Specify at the time of order — the temperature cannot be changed after assembly.
Is this bright enough to read by?
No — the integrated LED inside the burgundy orb provides accent / ambient lighting, not task-bright illumination. Pair with a dedicated reading lamp or overhead fixture if you need to read in the same space.
