ColourBlack & Amber

A geometric chandelier — a faceted black metal frame of angled rods meeting at suspended vertices, each holding an amber-tinted glass globe with a visible Edison bulb inside. Mid-century modern silhouette with an industrial edge. Available in four sizes from compact 5-globe (16.5″) to statement 21-globe (68″ diameter). For dining tables, foyers, and great rooms.

Installation walkthrough — frame assembly & lit ambiance

⚠ Sizes vary dramatically — measure before ordering

The four sizes span from 16.5″ (small 5-globe) to 68″ diameter × 42″ tall (21-globe statement). The 21-globe requires 16+ ft ceilings and at least a 12 ft wide room. Even the 10-globe is 43″ wide and needs an 11+ ft ceiling. Measure your room dimensions and ceiling height before choosing the size — see the size matrix below. Email info@vakkerlighting.com with your room photo + ceiling height for a personalized recommendation.

Faceted geometric frame

Angled black metal rods meet at suspended vertices — the frame itself is a sculptural feature, not just a holder.

Amber globe + Edison bulb

Tinted amber glass globes reveal the warm filament of a vintage-style Edison bulb at every vertex — the bulb is part of the look.

4 sizes / 4 scales

5, 10, 15, or 21 globes — compact accent up to room-defining statement.

5-globe — Compact
Ø16.5″ × H 11″ + 7.9″+3.9″ rod (42 × 28 cm)

Smallest. Best as a single accent over a side console, in a small breakfast nook, or in a tall narrow stairwell. 8–9 ft ceilings OK.

10-globe — Medium
Ø43.3″ × H 23.6″ + 3.9″ rod (110 × 60 cm)

Most versatile. Sized for a 6–8 ft dining table, kitchen island, or in a great room with 11+ ft ceilings.

15-globe — Large
Ø42.5″ × H 33.5″ + 3.9″ rod (108 × 85 cm)

Taller version of the 10-globe — same diameter but more vertical drop. Needs 13+ ft ceilings. Best in foyers or two-story dining rooms.

21-globe — Statement
Ø68.1″ × H 42.1″ + 3.9″ rod (173 × 107 cm)

Largest. 5.5+ ft wide × 3.5 ft tall. Requires 16+ ft ceilings, a wide room (12+ ft), and a structurally rated junction box. Email us before ordering.

Glass color options

The default and stocked finish is amber-tinted glass — pairs naturally with the Edison filament inside. White opal, clear, and other tints are available as made-to-order (4–6 week lead time, no upcharge). Email info@vakkerlighting.com to request alternate glass colors before placing your order.

  • Licensed electrician strongly recommended for 15-globe and 21-globe sizes. The 21-globe size requires a structurally rated junction box (verify with your electrician before ordering). Multi-person installation required for the 15- and 21-globe sizes.
  • Frame ships partially assembled in a flat carton; glass globes ship packed separately in foam dividers. Final assembly happens on-site — attach each globe to its socket after the frame is mounted overhead (push gently, do not force).
  • Bulb selection is critical to the look. Edison filament LED bulbs (ST64, G80, or G125 shape) are recommended — the visible filament through amber glass is the design intent. Avoid frosted bulbs (defeats the transparency) and high-wattage halogen (heat damages amber tint over time). Use ≤7W LED per bulb.
  • Indoor dry locations only. Not for bathrooms, kitchens above stovetops, or covered outdoor areas — moisture damages the matte black powder coat.

Which size should I order — 5, 10, 15, or 21 globes?

By room: 5-globe — accent over a small side table, breakfast nook, or stairwell (8–9 ft ceilings OK). 10-globe — 6–8 ft dining table or kitchen island (11+ ft ceilings). 15-globe — same diameter as 10-globe but with more vertical drop, for foyers or two-story dining rooms (13+ ft ceilings). 21-globe — full statement for grand foyers, great rooms, or commercial spaces (16+ ft ceilings, 12+ ft wide rooms). When in doubt, go up one size — chandeliers rarely look too big in proportional rooms.

What bulbs should I use?

Edison filament LED bulbs (ST64, G80, or G125 globe shapes) — the visible warm filament through the amber-tinted glass is the design intent of this chandelier. Use 2200K–2700K warm-white LED, ≤7W each (40W incandescent equivalent). Look for "vintage filament LED" or "Edison-style LED" at any lighting retailer. Avoid frosted/cloudy bulbs (defeats the transparent amber look) and halogen (heat damages the tinted glass over time).

Can I get glass colors other than amber?

Yes — white opal, clear, smoke grey, and other tints are available as made-to-order with a 4–6 week lead time (no price upcharge). The amber is the only stocked color for fast shipping. To request another tint, email info@vakkerlighting.com before placing your order with your preferred glass color and size.

Is it dimmable?

Yes — compatible with standard TRIAC (forward-phase) wall dimmers like Lutron Caséta or Leviton, paired with dimmable Edison filament LED bulbs. All globes dim together on one circuit. Dimming is highly recommended — at full brightness with 10–21 bulbs, this fixture is bright; dimmed to 40–60%, the filaments glow at their most evocative warm intensity.

What's the warranty?

2-year warranty on the frame, finishes, sockets, and wiring. Glass globes that arrive broken in transit are replaced free with photo evidence emailed within 7 days. After warranty, replacement globes are available as paid-service parts (kept in stock for 3 years after your order). Edison-style bulbs are standard replaceable parts.
