KUU Pendant Light
A KUU pendant light — a minimalist Scandinavian-style pendant featuring a round LED disc suspended inside a slim black oval/capsule frame. Four disc-orientation configurations create different silhouettes from full-disc face-on to slim edge-profile. Black metal finish with integrated LED. Cluster-friendly for sculptural arrangements above dining tables, kitchen islands, stairwells, and contemporary minimalist interiors.

- Hardwired ceiling mount — junction box required. Licensed electrician recommended.
- Standard cord drop is adjustable at installation. For higher ceilings or stairwell installations, request a custom drop length before ordering.
- For cluster installs, group 3–5 units at staggered heights above the same junction box (with multi-port canopy) or use separate junction boxes for wider compositions.
Which configuration should I choose?
Full Face (A): the most light output and a bold focal piece — best for primary pendant duty over a dining table or kitchen island. Edge Profile (B): the most subtle, slim vertical line — best for hallways or as accents in a cluster. Half Disc (C): a soft crescent silhouette — best for bedside or wall-adjacent placements. Horizontal (D): the widest, lowest profile — best for low ceilings or as an alternative to a long linear pendant. Mix-and-match in a cluster for visual variety.
Can I hang multiple as a cluster?
Yes — clustering 3–5 units at staggered heights gives a sculptural composition. Two approaches: (1) Single junction box with a multi-port canopy — all units share one electrical feed, drops staggered between 24–48″ for visual rhythm; (2) Multiple junction boxes spread across the ceiling — gives more layout flexibility for wide tables or open-plan spaces. Mix configurations (e.g. two Full Face + one Edge Profile + one Half Disc) for the most varied silhouette.
How bright is one pendant?
Each integrated LED disc produces ambient-level light — best as accent or supplementary lighting rather than primary room illumination. For a dining table that's the only light source, plan on 3+ pendants in a cluster. For ambient layering over an island or as visual accents in a foyer, one or two is sufficient. Total brightness depends on configuration (Full Face emits more than Edge Profile since more disc surface is visible).
Best rooms and styles?
Scandinavian minimalist, Japandi, contemporary, mid-century modern, and design-forward retail or hospitality spaces. The graphic black silhouette reads strongest against white or light-grey walls; less suitable for traditional or ornate interiors. Common uses: dining tables, kitchen islands, stairwell focal points, bedside pendants (in pairs), foyer accents, and gallery / showroom lighting.
Can I get a longer drop for high ceilings?
Yes — standard cord is adjustable at installation, and longer cords are available on request. For 10+ ft ceilings, especially in stairwells or two-story foyers, specify your desired bottom-of-fixture height at order. Email support@vakkerlight.com with your ceiling height. Custom cord lengths add 1–2 weeks to lead time.
