- Place the base on a flat surface — the weighted iron base prevents tipping when the arm is extended at full reach.
- Adjust the two joints to position the LED head. The joints hold their position firmly — no drift over time.
- Indoor dry locations only. Wipe with a soft microfiber cloth; avoid liquid cleaners on the LED head and joint hinges.
Can I change the color temperature after I receive the lamp?
No — the LED panel is sealed and the color temperature is set at the factory. Choose 3000K (default), 4000K, or 6000K when ordering by leaving a note at checkout, or email info@vakkerlighting.com after ordering to specify before we ship.
Is the lamp dimmable?
The integrated LED is on/off only — controlled by the inline push button on the cord. For variable brightness, pair the lamp with a smart plug (Lutron Caséta or TP-Link Kasa) and a dimming app. Adding hardware dimming would require returning the lamp for retrofit — email us to discuss.
How heavy is the base — will it tip with the arm fully extended?
The iron base is weighted specifically to counterbalance the arm at maximum extension. We tested at full reach with a deliberate push and the lamp remains stable. On glass or polished surfaces, place a felt pad underneath for additional grip.
How long do the LEDs last and can they be replaced?
LEDs are rated for 30,000+ hours (about 27 years at 3 hours per day). They are not user-replaceable — if the LED fails within warranty (3 years), we replace the head module. Beyond warranty, we offer a paid head replacement so the lamp keeps working long after.
What's the warranty?
3-year warranty on the integrated LED panel; 2-year warranty on the arm, hinges, base, and wiring. Email info@vakkerlighting.com with photos for any warranty claim — replies within one business day.
