Which body finish should I choose?
Copper: warm metallic accent — pairs with cream walls, terracotta, mid-century modern, or industrial spaces with brass hardware. Black (shown): contemporary contrast — great against light walls, modern minimalist or moody interiors. White: most discreet — disappears into white or pale-grey walls and lets the globe do the visual work. The brass accent ring is consistent across all three.
What bulb? How bright?
G9 base, LED or Edison. A 3–4W G9 LED in 2700K warm white gives the right ambient glow through the frosted globe (~300–400 lumens). Good for bedside reading or vanity accent — not enough for primary room lighting. For brighter task light, go up to 6W LED. Avoid bulbs over 8W; the small enclosure can trap heat. Bulb not included.
Best rooms and use cases?
Bedside reading lights (flanking a headboard in pairs), hallway accent at 5–8 ft intervals, vanity sconces flanking a mirror, entryway accent. Less suited for very large rooms as primary light. The compact scale and globe-on-capsule silhouette pairs well with mid-century modern, contemporary, and transitional interiors.
Is the globe real glass?
Yes — hand-blown frosted glass. The frosting is etched into the glass surface during finishing, not painted on, so it won't peel or fade. Hand-blown glass has subtle variation in wall thickness which gives the lit lamp its slightly uneven warm glow. The brass accent ring at the joint and the small brass drop at the bottom are real metal, not plated plastic.
Can I pair it with the matching pendant?
Yes — there's a matching pendant version with the same globe + capsule silhouette. Use them together for cohesive rooms: pendant over a dining table or kitchen island, wall sconces in the hallway or above a console. Order both in the same body finish for visual unity.
