A compact capsule table lamp — a glossy enameled metal base in your choice of four finishes, topped with a frosted opal glass globe. A small brass ball at the front of the base catches reflected light and adds a subtle metallic accent. Two sizes (Ø7.9″ × 15.7″ or Ø9.8″ × 19.7″) for bedside, console, or desk placement. Plug-in with inline switch — no electrician needed.

Pairing recommendations
Gold reads warmest, works with classic and traditional interiors. Copper is the rosiest, complements warm-wood furniture. Black is the most graphic, anchors modern and minimal rooms. White is the most subtle, works in any space without competing visually with other decor.

- Place on a flat, stable surface. Insert the G9 bi-pin bulb into the socket — push straight in, do not twist. Plug the cord into any standard wall outlet.
- G9 bulbs sold separately. Recommended: 2700K warm-white LED, ≤40W equivalent. Higher wattage warms the glass globe unnecessarily and may shorten LED life.
- Care: wipe the enameled base with a soft microfiber cloth. Glass globe is removable for cleaning — unscrew counterclockwise, clean with glass cleaner sprayed on cloth (never on the lamp), reattach by hand-tightening.
- Indoor dry locations only.
What bulb does the Kade use?
G9 bi-pin base — universal across all markets. Both LED and halogen G9 bulbs work; LED is recommended (cooler running, 30,000+ hour life, lower energy). We recommend 2700K warm-white LED, ≤40W equivalent — the frosted opal glass diffuses the light gently, and warm color preserves the glass's milky-cream tone. G9 bulbs are widely stocked at Amazon, Home Depot, IKEA, and hardware stores.
Which size should I order?
Small (Ø7.9″ × 15.7″) fits nightstands, narrow consoles, and desks where the lamp shares the surface with other items. Large (Ø9.8″ × 19.7″) is more substantial — works as a feature lamp on a wider console, sideboard, or as a pair flanking a bed. Most rooms benefit from going slightly bigger than feels safe — the Large rarely feels too big.
Is the Kade dimmable?
The fixture itself has only an on/off inline switch. To dim, pair it with a dimmable G9 LED bulb and a smart plug (Lutron Caséta or TP-Link Kasa) — the bulb dims through the app or schedule, with no rewiring needed. Adding hardware dimming would require returning the lamp for retrofit — email us to discuss.
Will the glass globe scratch or fingerprint easily?
The glass globe is frosted-finished, which makes minor fingerprints less visible than on clear glass. For visible smudges, the globe unscrews counterclockwise for cleaning — spray glass cleaner on a microfiber cloth (never directly on the lamp), wipe gently, reattach by hand. The frosted texture is integral to the glass, not a coating, so it will not wear off over time.
What's the warranty?
2-year warranty on the fixture, base finish, and wiring. The G9 bulb is a standard replaceable part. If the glass globe arrives broken in transit, email info@vakkerlighting.com with photos within 7 days for a free replacement.
