Glimmera Wall Light
A round wall fixture: a colored glass dome over an integrated LED panel, anchored by a small brass cap and brass wall plate. The LED projects forward onto the inside of the glass, scattering soft tinted light around the fixture rather than directly into the room. Ø9″ × 3.9″ deep — slim enough to mount flush along a hallway without bumping shoulders. Two body finishes (brass or black) × three glass tones (clear, amber, smoke grey) — six combinations to match any wall.

Pairing recommendations

- Hardwired install — licensed electrician recommended. Wall box (standard US/EU junction box) required behind the mounting plate.
- Mount on a flat interior wall surface. The 3.9″ profile clears most narrow hallway and stairwell widths without intrusion.
- Indoor dry locations only — not for bathrooms with direct shower spray or outdoor use.
- Glass dome attaches to the body via integrated clips — pull gently outward to remove for dusting. Do not over-rotate.
Can I change the color temperature after installation?
No — the LED panel is sealed at the factory. Choose 3000K (warm, default), 4000K (neutral), or 6000K (cool) when ordering by leaving a note at checkout, or email info@vakkerlighting.com after ordering to specify before we ship. Once shipped, the color temperature is fixed.
Which finish combination should I pick?
Six combinations to consider. Brass + amber reads warmest (living rooms, bedrooms). Brass + clear is most neutral (any interior). Brass + smoke grey is warm-moody (libraries, dens). Black + clear is graphic and minimal. Black + amber is high-contrast vintage. Black + smoke grey is moodiest (industrial, modern).
Is the Glimmera dimmable?
Yes — compatible with standard TRIAC (forward-phase) wall dimmers commonly used in residential installations. Lutron Caséta, Leviton, and most major brands work. For smart-home integration, a Lutron Caséta dimmer paired with a Caséta hub gives Alexa, Google, and Apple HomeKit voice control.
Where does it work best?
Hallways, stairwells, bedrooms (over nightstand or behind the bed), living rooms as accent lighting, entryways, and home offices. Pairs (one on each side) work well flanking a mirror or framing a doorway. At 9″ diameter it's substantial enough to read as a feature, slim enough to not crowd narrow spaces.
What's the warranty and what if the LED eventually fails?
3-year warranty on the integrated LED panel; 2-year warranty on the body, glass, mount, and wiring. LEDs are rated 30,000+ hours (~27 years at 3 hr/day). Within warranty, we replace the LED module free. Beyond warranty, we offer paid LED module replacement so the fixture keeps working.
