A vertical cascade gingko chandelier — hand-cast porcelain leaves arrayed along brass branches that flow downward from a central canopy. Up to 8 ft tall, designed for two-story foyers, open stairwells, and double-height entryways. Four configurations from 31″ × 78″ up to 39″ × 98″, weighing 55 to 103 lbs. ⚠ Installation & safety warning — read before purchase
This chandelier weighs 55–103 lbs (25–47 kg) depending on size, and the largest version stands over 8 ft tall. To prevent fall hazards:
- Ceiling type: mount only on a concrete ceiling or structural support beam rated for heavy loads. Standard drywall is not sufficient without heavy reinforced blocking.
- Hardware: use only heavy-duty expansion (anchor) bolts rated above the fixture weight.
- Ceiling clearance: requires a minimum ceiling height of 12 ft for the 78″ versions, or 14 ft+ for the 98″ versions, to hang clear of head height.
- Installer: licensed professional electrician strongly recommended. Two-person install required for the larger sizes.
⚠ Two more things to know
1. Faint glue marks on some leaves are normal. A small amount of adhesive is applied at each leaf-to-metal joint for shipping security. Residue is light, does not affect appearance from below or function, and is not a defect.
2. Length includes leaf span. Metal branches are flexible — fan out the outermost branches by hand on install to reach the full listed dimensions. Out-of-box width is more compact.

Customization

What ceiling height do I need for the Gingko Cascade?
Minimum 12 ft for the 78″ (Small/Large) versions and 14 ft+ for the 98″ (Medium/X-Large) versions. The chandelier needs to hang clear of head height at the bottom of the cascade — measure from your stairwell or foyer floor to ceiling before ordering.
Which size should I order for my stairwell or foyer?
For a single-story stairwell with a 12–13 ft drop: Small (31″ × 78″). For an open two-story foyer (13–14 ft): Medium or Large. For grand atriums (14 ft+ or 3-story drops): X-Large (39″ × 98″). Email us your ceiling and stairwell measurements for a mockup.
Can this be installed on drywall?
No. The fixture weighs 55–103 lbs depending on size and must be installed on a concrete ceiling or reinforced structural beam using heavy-duty expansion bolts. Standard drywall is not sufficient. A licensed electrician and two-person install are strongly recommended for the larger sizes.
I see faint marks on some leaves — is that a defect?
No. A small amount of adhesive is applied at each leaf-to-metal joint to secure the porcelain during shipping and long-term use. Light residue near the joint is part of the production process and does not affect appearance from below or function.
What's the warranty and can the lamp holder be replaced?
2-year warranty on fixture and wiring. Lamp holders are field-replaceable — see the "Replace lamp holder" video in Downloads. E12/G9 bulbs are standard replaceable parts at any hardware store.
