Are the holes in the stone a defect?
Not at all. The pitting and holes are the defining natural characteristics of genuine travertine stone. We leave the stone unfilled to preserve its raw, tactile wabi-sabi aesthetic.
Can this sconce be installed in a bathroom?
Yes, this fixture is IP20 Damp-rated. It is perfectly suitable for installation beside a bathroom vanity mirror where ambient moisture exists, but it must not be placed inside a shower or exposed to direct water spray.
Is the stone base heavy?
