Plug-in convenience — no electrician needed
This is the plug-in version. The cord exits the backplate and runs to a standard outlet; the in-line switch toggles on/off without a wall switch. Choose a wall close enough to an outlet for a 6-foot cord drop, or use a discreet cord cover to route the cord neatly. Need a hardwired version instead, or a custom cord length or color? - Mount the small backplate to the wall with the included hardware — drywall anchors are needed for stud-free walls. No electrician required: plug the cord into a standard outlet once mounted.
- The integrated LED is warm-white and replaceable at authorized service if it reaches end of life — no bulb changes needed during normal use.
- Use the in-line switch on the cord for on/off. Not designed for external dimmer compatibility — using a plug-in dimmer may cause flicker or shorten the LED life.
- To adjust the bird, hold the branch with one hand and gently rotate or tip the bird with the other. The joint is friction-fit; firm but not stiff.
- The touch-sway motion is a feature, not a defect — the lamp is designed to swing gently when bumped or stroked, then settle.
- Indoor and dry locations only (IP20). Not for bathrooms with shower spray, outdoor exposure, or steam areas.
- Dust the bird, branch, and shade with a soft, dry cloth or soft brush. Avoid solvents on the gold finish or the white PC shade.
Is this the plug-in or hardwired version?
This is the plug-in version — about 6 feet (1.8 m) of black cloth-covered cord with an in-line on/off switch. No electrician or wall-switch wiring needed; just plug into a standard outlet. If you need the hardwired version instead, email us before ordering.
Can the bird really be adjusted?
Yes. The bird sits on a friction-fit joint at the end of the branch — rotate it, tip it forward or back, point it toward the room or toward a wall. Firm enough to hold the pose, soft enough to reposition by hand without tools.
What does "touch-to-sway" mean?
The lamp is mounted on a small pivot at the backplate, so a light touch or brush sets it swinging gently for a few seconds before settling back. It's a quiet kinetic detail, not a wobble or defect.
Is it bright enough to read by?
The integrated LED gives a soft warm-white glow — good as accent and ambient light. For bedside or reading, it works well as a secondary light next to a brighter source, or for low-light evening reading. Pair with a brighter table lamp or ceiling light if you read for hours.
What's the warranty?
2-year warranty on wiring, plug, switch, and the integrated LED module. The friction-fit bird joint and gentle sway are not defects. If the LED reaches end of life within the warranty period, it's replaceable at authorized service. Email support with photos within 7 days of delivery for any transit damage.
