Arcs Pendant Light
A linear pendant built from thin metal arches that intersect overhead, each terminating in a cylindrical aluminum spot head with an acrylic lens. Each arch points its light downward — focused enough for kitchen islands and dining tables, soft enough for living rooms. Six sizes from 2-head (25″) to 8-head (79″). Two body finishes (gold or black) × two canopy finishes (black or white). Mounts to a long rectangular ceiling plate, not a standard round canopy.
Product showcase
⚠ Long rectangular canopy — not a standard round mount
The Arcs uses an elongated rectangular ceiling plate (11.8″ up to 47.2″ long depending on size), not a circular canopy. Your ceiling must accommodate the canopy length in a straight line — typically aligned over a structural beam or a long junction box. Before ordering, check that you have a flat, unobstructed strip of ceiling at least as long as the canopy + 2″ clearance on each end. For retrofits over an existing round junction box, an electrician will need to install a spanning bracket.
Crossing metal arches
Thin powder-coated arches intersect overhead — each pair forms a portal of geometry, not just functional support.
Cylindrical spot heads
Aluminum cylinders with acrylic lenses house GU10 bulbs — directs light downward in a focused cone, not spread.
6 sizes, 4 color combinations
2 to 8 heads (25″ to 79″ long) × gold or black arches × black or white canopy.
Combination recommendations
Gold arches + white canopy reads warmest, blends with white ceilings. Black arches + white canopy is the most graphic, draws the eye to the geometry. Gold arches + black canopy is dramatic, best for dark or moody interiors. Black arches + black canopy is the most architectural, disappears into dark ceilings until lit.

- Rectangular canopy required: measure your ceiling to confirm the canopy plate fits in a straight unobstructed line before ordering. For retrofits over a round junction box, a licensed electrician will install a spanning bracket.
- The arches arrive flat-packed and connect to the canopy on-site via threaded fittings. Two-person install recommended for the 6-head and 8-head sizes (longer canopies require alignment during mounting).
- GU10 LED bulbs sold separately. Recommended: 2700K warm-white LED, ≤7W (50W equivalent). The cylindrical heads direct light downward — choose a 36° beam angle for focused task light over an island, or 60° flood for ambient living-room use.
- Indoor dry locations only. Not for outdoor or bathroom installation.
Why does the Arcs use GU10 instead of E26 or G9?
GU10 is the standard base for directional spot lighting — the bi-pin twist-lock socket holds the bulb securely in the cylindrical head, and GU10 LED bulbs come in defined beam angles (36° focused, 60° flood) so you can choose how the light is directed. E26 and G9 are general-illumination bases without beam control. GU10 bulbs are widely available at Amazon, Home Depot, and any lighting retailer.
How do I know if the rectangular canopy fits my ceiling?
Measure a straight unobstructed strip on your ceiling. The 2-head needs 11.8″; the 8-head needs 47.2″. Add 2″ clearance on each end for installer access. The canopy is only 1.6–2.3″ wide and 0.8″ thick — it's a slim plate, not a deep box. For retrofit installs over an existing round junction box, your electrician adds a spanning bracket (standard hardware). If unsure, email info@vakkerlighting.com with a photo of your ceiling and we can advise.
Which size should I order?
By application: kitchen island 5–6 ft → 3-head or 4-head. 6 ft dining table → 4-head. 8 ft dining table or long island → 5-head or 6-head. 10 ft+ dining or commercial counter → 8-head. The 2-head is the only model that works above a 4-seat round table or breakfast nook. For wider spread without more lights, consider 4-head over 3-head — same height but extends further horizontally.
Is it dimmable?
Yes — compatible with standard TRIAC (forward-phase) wall dimmers when paired with dimmable GU10 LED bulbs. Lutron Caséta, Leviton, and most major dimmer brands work. For smart-home integration, a Lutron Caséta dimmer + hub gives Alexa, Google, and HomeKit voice control. Make sure your GU10 bulbs are explicitly labeled dimmable.
What's the warranty?
2-year warranty on the fixture, finishes, and wiring. GU10 bulbs are standard replaceable parts at any hardware store. The acrylic lenses are press-fit and replaceable — if one cracks, email info@vakkerlighting.com for free replacement within warranty.
